The suspect in last week's officer-involved shooting made his first court appearance Wednesday.
David Ernesto Murillo is facing 39 charges in the string of carjackings that included the death of Nogales Officer Jesus Cordova.
He's being charged with armed robbery, impersonating a peace officer, and murder.
