The U.S. Supreme Court won't let the state resume executing prisoners.
Protesters marched outside the governor's mansion Monday. They oppose the state's plan to execute eight prisoners by the end of the month, once its supply of lethal injection drugs expires.
The Supreme Court left a state ruling in place that blocks the execution.
The state has not executed a convict since 2005.
