Sunnyside Little League Majors defeated Santa Rita, 12-1, on Tuesday night, at Field of Dreams Park, to advance in the Division 12 Majors Tournament.
With Sunnyside down 1-0 in the bottom of the first, Mauro Acuna doubled to the right centerfield gap. Three batters later, Benji Cazares brought him home.
Sunnyside will play Randolph on Friday night in the semifinals. The loser will head to the elimination bracket. The title game is on Monday with the if-necessary game on Tuesday.
Games will be at Field of Dreams park number one.
