PHOENIX — A woman was arrested after allegedly slapping an infant during a North Phoenix road rage incident.

Phoenix police report that on Monday afternoon they were called to a reported fight near 19th Avenue and Thunderbird Road.

There they found a man and a woman fighting in a parking lot.

The woman, 20-year-old Eboni Lashar Moore, reportedly told police that she and the driver of the other vehicle were yelling at each other and cutting each other off as they traveled on Thunderbird Road.

She also allegedly told police that she got out of her car and opened the rear passenger door of the man's vehicle and saw three children in the back seat.

She said the man got out of the car and started hitting her.

The man and his wife reportedly told police that when Moore opened the rear passenger door they heard a slap and that's when the man got out and started defending his one-year-old child.

Police said the infant had red marks on his cheek.

They also said Moore appeared to be intoxicated. She would later blow a .128 in a preliminary breath test.

She has been charged with aggravated assault.
