TUCSON, Ariz. - Arizonans could see a significant hike in utility rates next year.
Southwest Gas submitted an application to the Arizona Corporation Commission to increase rates to customers next year. The average monthly rise in price should be $7.01, beginning in mid 2020, pending ACC approval.
The rate hike includes the cost of infrastructure investments and tax-related modification, a spokesman for the utility told KGUN9.
