Tucson police arrested a man armed with an air gun near Sunnyside High School Wednesday.
According to Sunnyside School District spokeswoman Mary Veres, police asked the district to place Sunnyside High School, 1725 E. Bilby Road; and Sierra 2-8 School, 5801 S. Del Moral Blvd., on lockdown at 10:45 a.m.
Police arrested a man and the district lifted the schools' lockdowns at 11:30 a.m.
