South Tucson Police are investigating the death of a female, Tuesday night, that is being treated as a homicide.
According to a news release from STPD, officers responded to reports of an altercation near South Fifth Avenue and West 30th Street at around 7:10 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers found a female with "obvious traumatic injuries." She died at the scene.
Details on the injuries and the victim's name are not being released at this time, the news release said.
