PHOENIX (AP) — Authorities say a single-engine plane landed in a field near a Phoenix airport on Wednesday and that the two people aboard declined to be transported to a hospital.
There was no immediate information available on why the plane landed in the field east of Phoenix Deer Valley Airport.Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Ian Gregor said the agency will investigate.Phoenix Fire Department Capt. Kenny Overton said there was no fire and that the two people aboard the plane were evaluated by firefighters and declined to be transported.
