A Sierra Vista woman shot an alleged burglar Thursday.
According to the Cochise County Sheriff's Office, the incident happened at about 11 p.m. Thursday in the 8000 block of Ramsey Road, south of Sierra Vista.
A 26-year-old man with gunshot wounds was airlifted to a Tucson hospital, where he is in critical condition.
Deputies say a 69-year-old woman shot at the man, who tried to burglarize her home.
Detectives continue to investigate.
