TUCSON, Ariz. - A woman died Thursday after she was hit by a car in Sierra Vista.
Sierra Vista police say 67-year-old Sharron Pottier was hit while crossing State Route 90 near Rainbow Way near a pedestrian crosswalk.
Police say the light was not activated when Pottier was hit.
The driver, a 43-year-old man, was driving eastbound on State Route 90 when he hit Pottier. He stayed at the scene and sumitted to breath and blood tests.
There was no indication that excessive speed was a factor.
