Sexual assault suspect Tyler Kost has returned to Pinal County Jail after the Arizona Supreme Court issued a stay Monday.

Kost, who was arrested in 2014, is accused of sexually assaulting 13 girls between the ages of 12 and 17. A judge set bond for Kost at $100,000 in July, allowing him to be released from jail before the stay was issued.

Pinal County Attorney Lando Voyles released this statement:

"The Pinal County Attorney’s Office acknowledges the stay issued by the Arizona Supreme Court remanding Tyler Kost back to the Pinal County Adult Detention Center. PCAO prosecutors continue to work to bring this case to trial, which is scheduled to begin in February of 2017."

The court upheld a precedent that started in 2002 that held that suspects charged with dangerous crimes against children are non-bondable.
