TUCSON, Ariz. - Cochise County deputies arrested a sexual assault suspect in Cochise County last week.
Deputies say 31-year-old Victor Lopez of Naco sexually assaulted a 19-year-old woman in Pirtleville Oct. 28.
Lopez allegedly went into a home being used as a stash house for illegal immigrants. He removed three people from the home, then came back to the home and forced himself on her, demanding money that she wasn't able to pay. The three people he took from the home came back and knocked on the door. U.S. Border Patrol agents investigated the incident, leading to Lopez's arrest.
Lopez faces three charges of sexual assault and one count of kidnapping and was booked into Cochise County Jail.
