Mateo Rodriguez, who was convicted of armed robbery of several restaurant drive-throughs, will serve eight years for his crimes.
Rodriguez was arrested in April 2016 for the crimes, the last of which was in March 2016 at the McDonald's at 2990 W. Valencia Road. He allegedly robbed seven restaurants.
Authorities say Rodriguez would reach through drive-through windows with handguns and steal cash, apparently to fund a heroin addiction.
Rodriguez received the sentence as part of a plea deal in which he pleaded guilty to four counts of armed robbery.
