A Sells man was sentenced to 37 months in prison for sexually abusing a minor as part of a plea deal.
According to the U.S. Department of Justice, 53-year-old Alvin Edison Moreno pleaded guilty to one count of abusive sexual contact of a minor.
Both Moreno and the victim are members of the Tohono O'odham Nation.
Moreno will be placed on lifetime federal supervision and register as a sex offender once he's released.
