At Albertson's, bananas are 39 cents a pound, and extra lean ground beef is $2.47 a pound. Boneless, skinless chicken breasts are $1.47 a pound.
Food City is selling chicken drumsticks and bone-in thighs at 57 cents a pound.
Bashas' has strawberries for 88 cents for a 16-ounce package, and Safeway has cut prices on red or green grapes to 77 cents a pound, as well as avocados for 77 cents each and a dozen eggs for 77 cents.
