Salvation Army holding pre-registration for toy distribution

Posted

Low-income families looking for free gifts for their children can register with the Salvation Army, which seeks to aid 1,500 families this year.

Those who would like to participate must have children age 12 or under.

"The toy assistance program is crucial for families who cannot provide Christmas gifts for their children." said Jamie Snyder, Director of Social Services, in a statement. "All the toys provided are supported from the people of Tucson and their donations."

Registration will take place from 8 to 11 a.m. Nov. 4 at 1002 N. Main Ave.
