Pothole Patrol: The wait for repairs continues

TUCSON, Ariz. — KGUN 9'S Pothole Patrol has several repair requests into both TDOT and Pima County Department of Transportation on behalf of several viewers who've submitted emails with complaints about a rough ride on streets in their neighborhoods.

Several have been repaired, but many have not been addressed.

There are three more submissions today, representing the east, central and west sides of Tucson.

Viewer Rich sent us a picture of a big pothole just off Thornydale, on Lambert Lane. Ironically, this hole is located just short of the Thornydale resurfacing project that took place last year. Rich also reported that there are a few more within a quarter-mile of his original submission.

Viewer Ann submitted a picture of a pothole near Shawnee and Calle Gallego, near St Marys Road.

Finally, an email from Jessica and her family showing several potholes along Poinciana, between Desert Palm and Desert Aire Dr. states she was almost hit because she's observing vehicles making wide right-turns to avoid them.

We've alerted both Pima County and Tucson Departments of Transportation to see what's possible to get repairs done to these three roads. Please send a picture of the pothole along with an email to us at: Potholes@kgun9.com.
