Shortly after KGUN9's Pothole Patrol alerted the city about a giant hole on East Palm Tree Drive, crews have smoothed over the rough road.
As Good Morning Tucson anchor Pat Parris reports, the Tucson Department of Transportation filled the hole Thursday morning. They also took care of a pair of other potholes on the same eastside street.
Dolly, the viewer who alerted us to the problem, was appreciative.
"Oh my goodness, you did it," she said. "I walked out of my house to see the city was in the middle of repairing my pothole. You made it happen. They did a great job. Thank you so much."
