TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Tucson police say a female pedestrian was killed by a drunk driver Thursday night.
Police say 31-year-old Joedaniel Gutierrez was under the influence when he drove a 2004 Honda CRV eastbound on Broadway near Kolb at 11:30 p.m., hitting and killing the 34-year-old woman.
The woman was crossing Broadway from north to south, outside of the crosswalk.
Gutierrez faces a DUI - impaired to the slightest degree, a class 1 misdemeanor.
