Tucson police responded to an eastside barricade situation Friday.
According to Sgt. Pete Dugan, a man at a home near Stella and Grady threatened suicide and pointed a gun at his head. Negotiators spoke with the man and evacuated nearby homes.
Police asked motorists to avoid the area during the negotiation.
