Tucson police are searching for two missing vulnerable adults last seen on Thursday, July 14.

Police say 55-year-old Belen Potts, who is dependent on insulin, and her son, 29-year-old Ernest Potts, were reported missing this morning.

The pair mentioned they had planned on hiking at Redington Pass on Friday, July 15.

Both were scheduled to work over the weekend, but neither showed up or called in.
 
Ms. Potts is described as a Caucasian female, 5’2”, 250 lbs., with red hair and brown eyes. Mr. Potts is described as a Caucasian male, 5’6”, 180 lbs., with blonde hair and green or hazel eyes and a full beard.
 
The pair may be associated to a 2013 red Ford Focus four-door hatchback with Arizona license plate BVY1415.
 
They were both last seen at their home located at 9225 E. Tanque Verde Road.
 
Anyone with information about the missing adults is urged to contact 9-1-1 immediately.
