Tucson police are looking for a man who robbed an eastside convenience store last month.

Police say the man robbed a Circle K at 1675 N. Wilmot Road at 2:15 a.m. July 22. The clerk recognized the man as a past shoplifter and approached him. The suspect assaulted the clerk, who tried to get away and suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The assailant left the store and got away. The man is described as a Hispanic in his late 20s or 30s standing 5-10 and weighing between 250 and 300 pounds. He has short hair and a goatee.

Those with information should call 911 or 88-CRIME.
