TUCSON, Ariz. -- A suspected shooter is suffering from life-threatening injuries after getting run over by a vehicle they were targeting with gunfire.
Tucson Police say the suspect was shooting at a man and an SUV when the driver accelerated, ran over the alleged shooter and crashed into a cement wall. It happened at North Hill Park Apartments near East Limberlost Drive near North 1st Avenue Thursday night.
The shooter was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
TPD says a child was in the SUV but was not hurt.
At least one person has been detained for questioning.
