TUCSON, Ariz. - Tucson police investigated an alleged threat at Secrist Middle School Friday morning.

According to Officer Frank Magos, the perceived threat was not valid.

Magos said that rumors of a threat spawned from a student at the school discussing issues he had at a previous school.

The student did not threaten Secrest. No arrests were made, and no extra security presence was needed on campus.

The school is at 3400 S. Houghton Road.
