TUCSON, Ariz. - Tucson Airport Authority police identified a man who allegedly breached a Tucson International Airport gate and led authorities on a pursuit Friday.
Police say Joseph Collins, 30, faces charges including aggravated DUI, aggravated assault, criminal damage, possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal trespassing
He was booked into Pima County Jail on a $15,500 bond.
Collins allegedly drove onto the airfield at the airport and then drove out of the airfield and onto city streets. He claimed to have been carrying a bomb.
Airport authorities kept following the man, and Tucson police picked up the chase around 12th and Valencia. They did not find a bomb in the vehicle.
