Ten new members will be inducted late next month into the Pima County Sports Hall of Fame.

That includes the first ever father and son to be inducted at the same time -- former Sabino High School and major league star J.J. Hardy and his father, tennis player and coach Mark Hardy.

"I understand him, for sure," Mark Hardy said. "He had a great career. I kind of think I'm riding in with him! But I've been doing the tennis thing in Tucson for 50 years."

Along with the Hardys -- Canyon Del Oro's Ian Kinsler will be inducted on Oct. 28, along with seven other individuals.

For the first time, two teams will be enshrined -- the 1972 Tucson High baseball team and the 1972 Catalina High School girls volleyball team.
