A man was killed late Monday after being struck by a semi-truck, according to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department.
The crash happened near North Thornydale Road and West Turkey Lane, south of West Tangerine Road, at just after 9:45 p.m. PCSD said the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The truck driver was not injured and stayed on site during the investigation.
The roadway was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
