Tucson police are investigating, but said the pedestrian was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

E. Broadway Blvd and N. Jessica Ave are shutdown for East and westbound traffic due to a pedestrian that was struck by a vehicle. Please avoid the area and plan for delays. Road will be closed until further notice. pic.twitter.com/3YdkZHPsec
TPD is asking drivers to avoid the area as the investigation continues.
