UPDATE: Deputies arrest suspect involved in shooting near southside, one man is dead

TUCSON, Ariz.-- Pima County Sheriff's Deputies found one man dead from a gunshot wound on the southside near the Tucson International Airport on Saturday night.

Deputies say they responded to a call around 7:30 p.m. about an unknown problem happening on the 10000 block of South Summit Creek Drive.

PCSD says the victim has been identified as 21-year-old Luis A. Meza-Salvedo. The suspect has been identified as 20-year-old Ricardo Andres Herrera.

Herrera has been arrested and booked into Pima County Adult Detention Complex on one count of negligent homicide.

Detectives say this investigation in ongoing.
