TUCSON, Ariz. — Parents and guardians are invited to attend an upcoming car seat safety class hosted by the Pima County Sheriff's Department and the Marana Police Department.
The class is scheduled to be held on Thursday, June 19, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
According to PCSD, a properly installed car seat or booster seat can reduce a child's risk of death up to 71 percent if involved in a crash.
A Child Passenger Safety Technician will be on site to assist.
Registration for the class is required and space is limited.
