TUCSON, Ariz. — The Pima County Sheriff's Department is investigating a fatal pedestrian collision that happened Friday night near Drexel Heights.
Deputies responded to an accident involving a pedestrian with injuries westbound Valencia Road and Settler Avenue around 9:30 p.m.
Upon arrival deputies found a man with serious injuries.
PCSD says the man was pronounced dead on scene.
Deputies have identified as 38-year-old Rene Fernandez.
No arrests have been made and no citations have been issued.
This is an ongoing investigation.
