Pima Animal Care Center has placed dozens of cats rescued from a hoarder home up for adoption.

After rescuing the cats two weeks ago and giving them medical treatment, the 52 cats are now available to go to new homes.

PACC has a total of 740 pets awaiting adoption. The agency is offering a sale through Aug. 6 that allows customers to name their own adoption fees.

Some of the cats up for adoption arrived emaciated, anemic and suffering from respiratory infections. The cats will need time with new owners to recover from the ailments.

PACC is located at 4000 N. Silverbell Road and is open from noon to 7 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekends.
