The Oro Valley Police Department says it has received $64,528 in funding from the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety.
The department says this money is aimed at supporting the purchase of a car able to detect and address dangerous driving behaviors that could lead to collisions.
OVPD says this car will also be used to address traffic safety concerns voiced by the community.
