TUCSON, Ariz. - One person died Saturday in a midtown house fire.
According to Tucson Fire, the blaze started at 7:40 a.m. in the 1800 block of North Belvedere Avenue. Tucson Fire crews, including 16 units with 32 firefighters, responded within four minutes and found a female trapped inside the home, They pulled her out of the house and tried to resuscitate her but she was dead at the scene.
A dog and a cat also died in the blaze.
The cause is under investigation.
