TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Northwest Medical Center opened an emergency room in Vail, billing it as the only freestanding ER in the metro area.
The facility is at 10146 East Old Vail Road.
"Northwest Emergency Center at Vail provides faster access to emergency care for people living in the Rita Ranch and Vail areas," Northwest Medical Center Chief Executive Officer Kevin Stockton said. "We have been serving more than just 'Northwest' Tucson for many years and this is another example of our commitment to expand healthcare in the greater metropolitan area."
The ER has 12 patient rooms with on-site radiology and lab services. The operation pledges to see patients within 30 minutes of arrival at the center.
