Northwest Fire is miffed that footage of one of its trucks was used in a politically messaged late-night comedy sketch.
The "Jimmy Kimmel Live" bit is a mock fire safety video about the proper way to burn pro-Donald Trump "Make America Great Again" hats.
A Northwest Fire truck pops up in one of the last scenes, with a truck rolling out of the station as the "fireman" is superimposed.
The fire department addressed the issue in a tweet.
It has come to our attention that one of our Engines was displayed in a skit on The Jimmy Kimmel show last night. The video appears to be footage found on the internet and was NOT provided by the District. This footage was used without our knowledge or permission.
