A 64-year-old woman died Tuesday in a wreck on the Interstate 10 frontage road on the eastside.
According to Arizona Department of Public Safety spokesman Quentin Mehr, the single-vehicle wreck shut down the eastbound frontage road between Wilmot and Kolb for several hours. The road reopened by 10 a.m.
at 6:28 a.m., the woman was traveling eastbound on I-10 when she lost control of the vehicle. It ran off the road tot he right and through the right-of-way fence. It then swerved back to the left and stopped in the dirt shoulder.
