Tucson police say a motorist died in a midtown rollover early Tuesday morning.
Euclid between Waverly and Edison was closed due to the crash. The road has reopened.
The victim was 28-year-old Colby Olsen, who police say was not wearing his seatbelt and had been drinking.
Olsen drove a 2005 Kia Spectra northbound on Euclid at high speed. He lost control of the vehicle, driving over the eastern sidewalk and into a landscaped area, where the car tumbled through trees and over boulders.
The vehicle eventually hit a parked SUV in the front yard of a home.
A passenger was wearing his seatbelt and was treated for minor injuries.
Euclid Ave has reopened after this morning's fatal collision.
