A motorcyclist injured in a wreck near Sierra Vista Tuesday morning was airlifted to Tucson for treatment.
Cochise County Sheriff's deputies are investigating the wreck.
Deputies say it happened at 8:30 a.m. near milepost 8.5 of Charleston Road, which stretches from Sierra Vista to Tombstone.
The motorcycle came out of the turn after drifting off the road, then overcorrected and skidded back onto the pavement before crashing.
There is no update on the victim's condition.
