TUCSON, Ariz. - More than 2,500 Tucson Electric Power customers lost service Wednesday following a wreck.

According to Tucson police Sgt. Pete Dugan, a car crashed into a power pole in the area of 12th Avenue and Nebraska Street. Northbound 12th Avenue was closed between Nebraska and Wyoming Streets.
A man driving the car lost control of the car and suffered minor injuries.
According to the TEP outage map, service was expected to be restored by 3 p.m.
