Marana police look for convenience store robbers

Marana police are looking for two men they say robbed a convenience store Sunday.

Police say the men robbed the Giant store at 4202 W. Ina Road. They walked behind the sales counter and loaded cigarettes into a camouflage-colored backpack. When the clerk approached them, one of the men pulled out a handgun and demanded money from the cash register.

The clerk handed over an undisclosed amount of money, and the men ran away from the store.

One suspect is a black man who is close to 6 feet tall and weighs between 160 and 170 pounds. He has a piercing on his lip and wore a red baseball hat, a navy blue hooded sweatshirt, black pants and gray high-top tennis shoes.

The other suspect is a Hispanic or white man who is about 5 feet 11 inches, weighs 150 pounds and wore a black hooded sweatshirt, dark blue jeans, black and white tennis shoes, sunglasses and a gray hat.
