Marana police identified a pedestrian who died while trying to cross a Marana street Thursday night.
Police say 22-year-old Clarissa Marie Ballesteros died when she was crossing Ina Road and hit by a 2007 Dodge pick-up truck. She was in a crosswalk during the incident.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Neither speed nor impairment were factors in the wreck.
This was the first pedestrian fatality in Marana since 2011.
