TUCSON, Ariz. - Tucson police identified a man who died after a January wreck on the eastside.
Police say 69-year-old Antonio Calva died after a two-vehicle wreck near Kolb and 22nd Street.
According to witnesses, Calva drove a black 2000 Toyota minivan that was heading eastbound on 22nd Street, then moved to the left lane to make a northbound turn onto Kolb Road.
A white 2011 Toyota Camry was heading westbound on 22nd Street at the same time. As the Camry entered the intersection, the minivan started the left turn. The vehicles collided in the intersection.
The Camry driver, who did not seem to be impaired or speeding, stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
Calva was hospitalized and died Feb. 8.
The investigation has been assigned to traffic detectives.
