University of Arizona police are looking for a man who assaulted an officer Friday.
Police say officers responded to a call about a man trying to steal a bike at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Building in the 1200 block of East Speedway.
Police tracked down a bus that the suspect was riding on, and the suspect got off the bus and ran away.
When an officer caught the suspect, he kicked the officer in the face, then ran to a nearby neighborhood. Police could not find the suspect.
The man is believed to be 30 years old, 5-11 and 160 pounds.
