A man has been arrested with three charges after a shooting at an east side apartment complex Friday morning.
Hector Ravago, 38, has been charged with one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, one count of possession with dangerous drugs, and a felony arrest warrant for probation violation. He was booked into the Pima County Jail.
Sgt. Pete Dugan said the call came in just after 6 a.m. from Kachina Court Apartments at 5255 E. 29th Street. A man was shot multiple times and is hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say they believed Ravago was armed in an apartment unit. Officers made calls to the apartment but nobody came outside.
Sgt. Dugan said officers continued to try and make communication with the person in the apartment using a megaphone.
Ravago then started a live stream social media and police were able to determine from this live stream that the person was armed.
According to TPD, the SWAT team was able to convince Ravago to come out of the apartment peacefully.
