A man was sentenced to 8.5 years for a homicide that happened in February of 2016 on Monday according to the Pima County Superior Court.
In March of 2016, homicide detectives arrested 33-year-old Vacciana Carvel Williams for the murder of 33-year-old Andrew Laffaite Johnson.
A month prior to the arrest Johnson was found dead in a wash at the north end of Bowes Road with gunshot wounds.
