TUCSON, Ariz. - A man has succumbed to his injuries after being hit by a train on the southside Friday.
The Pima County Sheriff's Department has now identified that man as 59-year-old Angel Morales.
According to Pima County Sheriff's deputy James Allerton, the man was on foot when he was hit by a train near Old Nogales Highway and South Nogales Highway.
He was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, but was pronounced dead by staff upon arrival.
