A man was convicted of killing a motorcyclist in a DUI wreck that killed a woman in 2015.
Scott Allen Woodington was found guilty Friday on several charges related to the incident, including second degree murder of motorcyclist Amy Hill and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon or dangerous instrument.
Authorities say Woodington was drunk when he hit Hill near Sahuarita Road and Alvernon Way on May 2, 2015. Hill later died from injuries suffered in the wreck.
Woddington was also convicted on charges of aggravated assault resulting in a serious physical injury, aggravated DUI with suspended license, aggravated DUI with an alcohol concentration of 0.08 or more with a suspended license, aggravated DUI having committed or been convicted of two or more prior DUI violations, criminal damage and endangerment.
Woodington will be sentenced at 10 a.m. Aug. 28.
