The La Placita overhead pedestrian bridge downtown is being demolished this weekend.
As a result, Church Avenue will be shut down while demolition crews work.
Officials say the road will reopen on Sunday afternoon around 3 p.m.
This is all part of the developers plan to make way for apartments and retail businesses in the downtown area.
