Hundreds of people gathered Saturday morning for an early Easter meal downtown.
According to organizers, nearly 300 meals were served. Hams, potatoes, fruit and other breakfast items were donated by the community.
Kids received Easter baskets filled with candy.
The Salvation Army says the meal makes a difference for homeless people and families in need.
